There
are several reasons for this:
1. The portion of the roasted chicken in both the
salad and sub is larger then the portions of other
meat/poultry
based sandwiches and salads.
2. All of the other sandwich meats have a greater
percentage water and/or other ingredients than
the roasted chicken.
As a result these meats they have lower cholesterol
level than their whole meat counterparts.
3. Subway® uses very lean turkey, roast beef
and ham which keeps fat and cholesterol levels
lower.
